Ex Vivo CAR

Ex vivo CAR (ex vivo chimeric antigen receptor) represents a tumor immunotherapy modality based on ex vivo genetically engineered immune cells. Its core workflow starts with isolating T cells from peripheral blood collected from patients or healthy allogeneic donors. After activation ex vivo using CD3/CD28 antibodies and cytokines, tumor-antigen-targeted CAR transgenes are delivered into T cells via lentiviral vectors, retroviral vectors or non-viral delivery systems. Engineered cells undergo large-scale expansion, full quality control testing and cryopreservation, followed by intravenous infusion back into patients who have received lymphodepleting chemotherapy. Once infused, CAR-T cells specifically recognize and eliminate tumor cells in vivo to deliver precise anti-tumor efficacy.

Centered on this technical platform, our company prioritizes the R&D and translational development of CAR-T therapies targeting two prevalent tumor antigens: B7H3 and GPC3. We carry out dedicated development programs for malignancies with high expression of the corresponding antigens, and steadily advance preclinical and clinical research of our pipeline candidates.
